How to Reach Mount Rinjani Getting to Lombok by Airplane

The most convenient and quickest way to get to Lombok is by taking a flight. There are daily direct flights from Jakarta and Bali to Lombok International Airport (LOP) in Tanak Awu, located approximately 30 km or an hour’s drive southeast of Mataram.

The airlines that operate flights to Lombok include Garuda, Lion Air, Silk Air, AirAsia, and Trans Nusa.

There are multiple daily trips of public ferries between Padangbai (Bali) and Lembar (Lombok). The journey takes around 4-5 hours, and you can bring motorbikes and cars on the ferry.

If you tend to get seasick, be aware that the journey can be rough. There are also ferries that travel between Labuhan Lombok and Poto Tano on Sumbawa multiple times a day, with a duration of one and a half hours.

This service as same like another taxi, almost with private car with minivans will running from Airport to Teluk Kodek harbour which able to take speedboat directly, no waiting and no need ticket service.

- Able to take lunch for a while in senggigi or Mataram, this much different with taxi with argo, the machines will running although just stopped at some resto
