1. Sukarara Central Weaving Village

Your day begins in Sukarara, the island’s most famous weaving village. Here, the art of weaving is not just a skill — it’s a tradition passed down from mother to daughter for generations. Local women, often dressed in traditional Sasak attire, sit gracefully at backstrap looms, crafting intricate songket and ikat patterns by hand.

Each design tells a story — sometimes about nature, sometimes about cultural rituals, sometimes about the weaver’s own life journey. 2. Traditional Sasak House (Sade or Ende Village)

From Sukarara, we head to a traditional Sasak village, such as Sade or Ende. These villages are living museums of Lombok’s heritage, where time seems to move at a slower pace.

The houses here are built from natural materials: bamboo walls, thatched roofs, and floors coated with a mixture of clay and cow dung — surprisingly clean and smooth, with the dung acting as a natural insect repellent. Your guide will explain how these houses are designed to suit the island’s tropical climate, keeping cool during the heat of the day.

As you walk through narrow paths between the houses, you’ll be greeted by friendly locals, especially children who may wave and say “Hello!” with big smiles. This is where you truly feel the warmth of Lombok’s people.

3. Kuta Lombok Beach

Next, we arrive at Kuta Beach — not to be confused with the Kuta in Bali. Kuta Lombok is a peaceful, picturesque bay with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. The sand here has a unique “pepper grain” texture, and the bay is surrounded by rolling green hills.

This is the perfect spot to relax after your cultural visits. You can take a short walk along the shore, enjoy a fresh coconut from one of the beachside stalls, or simply sit back and take in the view. 4. Tanjung Aan Beach

A short drive away is Tanjung Aan, one of Lombok’s most beloved beaches. Stretching in a wide arc, the bay is divided into two distinct sand textures: one side is silky and soft like flour, the other side is more coarse, like tiny white peppercorns.

5. Mandalika International Circuit

This area is part of the government’s plan to develop Mandalika as a premier tourism destination, so you’ll see modern facilities alongside untouched natural landscapes. It’s a place where tradition and modernity meet — just like the rest of Lombok.

6. Sunset at Merese Hill

The grand finale of your tour is Merese Hill, known as the best sunset spot in South Lombok. A short, easy walk takes you up to a ridge with sweeping 360-degree views of the coastline, including hidden coves and endless blue sea.
