Where to snorkling in gili trawangan that is most question that give it to me and i say fluently with good smile that there are two the best spot for snorkling in this island :
1. Infront of villa grasia resort and spa.
The hotel located on the north side of gili trawangan by 20 minutes walk and 15 minutes by bike, this spot actually is diving spot but we can reach this reef side by walk.
Villa grasia face to khalik point where you can find a lot of beautiful fish, coral and turtle but this location has timing schedule when we will be able to do snorkling due to they have low tide and high tide.
When high you can do snorkling stright onto khalik point to the reef side, no need to walk to reach just a little swim but when low tight you should walk ten meter from shoreline to the the reef where snorkling better.
Not a lof people snorkling here make this place natural condition and animal under water still close to the people without any space beetwen nature, human and sea ecosystem,
2. Infront of horizontal restaurant.
This location on the main central of gili trawangan, approximately five minutes from gili trawangan harbour, they have long beach line with shiny white sandy beach well covered with trees.
This place face to meno wall that a place where you can see a lot of turtle, the turtle lives and feeding there, amazing view and nice snorkling area. This place you may visit anytime cause of they do not have low tide or high tide.
Facing to gili meno made this place most memorable view with crystal water and this is a central of water activity like water spot, paddle boat, kayak and banana boat.
A reason why that most people visit this area due to water condition with no hard current and slim water provide a good view to continue the water activity.
