Trawangan is the island which avoid to use car and motorcycle as the main transportation, they keep the island far from polution ans hold the natural until now and next time.
There are two main transportation in the trawangan island as belows :
1. Horse cart we call " cidomo"
This the main transportation which can load a people with luggage upon arrival or check out, they could be load at least 2 people with luggàge.
This transportation was managed by local company under the " JANUR INDAH CORPORATION" They have a very nice system, you can find this transportation in the harbour where they leave and waiting for the guest which arrive from bali or from lombok.
This kind of transportation use monopoly system without any competitor, the price is look very expensive if we compare with other transport in mainland.

Harbour to villa ombak and other hotel close to : Rp. 50.000,-
Harbour to villa almarik and other hotel close to Rp. 50.000,-
Harbour to villa grasia and the same destination on the north of trawangan : Rp. 75.000,-
harbour to ombak sunset or aston sunset and hotel close to : Rp. 100.000,-
And one thing that possible for you to make negoisation for the price.
2. Bike we call " sepeda "
This transportation you may find a lot in main road of gili trawangan, they hire for hours or for day with price Rp. 50.000,- for day.
Some of the hotel where you stay may prepare free bicycle for their clients, you can try to look around the whole island by bike and you can stop by the beach which has a nice view to catch a picture, we need approximately 1 hours for around the island with 7 kilometers at all.
